About Z Club
Z Club brings young leaders together to advance the rights and opportunities of women and girls through student-driven advocacy, service, and community initiatives. Students take ownership of identifying challenges, developing solutions, and turning collective ideas into meaningful action.
Z Club is affiliated with Zonta International, a global organization across 65 countries.
Our Mission
Z Club empowers students to become advocates and changemakers for gender equity. Through community initiatives, educational campaigns, and collaborative service projects, we strive to turn awareness into action while developing the next generation of compassionate, informed leaders.
Our Vision
To build a connected network of student leaders who collaborate across schools and communities, amplify young voices, and translate shared ideas into meaningful, lasting impact for women and girls.
●A Message from Founder & President
Arisa Angspatt | Z Club
As the only girl on my freeride ski team, I learned that barriers to opportunity aren't always obvious. Sometimes, they exist in the unspoken expectations and environments that quietly make girls question whether they belong.
That experience inspired me to look beyond my own circumstances and recognize a larger challenge: having access to opportunities doesn't always mean having the support, resources, or confidence to participate fully.
Through my work with Zonta International and community initiatives addressing women's health and gender equity, I learned that meaningful change requires more than raising awareness or meeting immediate needs. It means understanding why barriers exist, amplifying the voices of those affected, and turning compassion into lasting action.
That belief inspired me to found The Z Club, first one in Northern California.
My vision is to create a community where students have the confidence, resources, and opportunity to lead change themselves. Together, we can challenge overlooked barriers, ask harder questions, and transform ideas into meaningful advocacy and action.
Because our goal isn't simply to help girls find a place where they belong. It's to create a world where they never have to question whether they belong in the first place.
